Step-by-Step Guide to Business Verification for Registered Businesses

  1. Step 1: Log In to Your Business Account
    Start by logging into your Earnipay business account using your credentials.

  2. Step 2: Fill in Basic Business Information
    After logging in, you will be presented with a form to enter the basic details of your business.
    Complete the following fields:

    - Enter your business’s registered name.
    - Provide a description of your business activities.
    - Specify the size of your business in terms of employees or revenue.
    - Choose the industry your business operates inBusiness Email Address: Input your official business email.
    - Provide the phone number linked to your business.
    - Enter your business’s website URL, if available.
    - Social Media Links (Optional): Add links to any of your business’s social media profiles (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
     
    After filling out this information, click 'continue' to proceed.

  3. Step 3: Verify Your Business Details
    Next, you will be prompted to complete additional verification details related to your business registration:

    - Select the type of business registration (e.g., Limited Liability Company, Partnership,etc).
    - Enter your business’s official registration number.
    - Confirm your registered business name.
    - Provide your business’s trading name or alias (if different from the registered name).
    - Input your registered business address.
    - Upload your business registration documents (e.g., CAC certificate for Nigerian businesses).
    - Upload proof of your business address (such as a utility bill or bank statement).

    Once all fields are completed, click 'continue'.

  4. Step 4: Verify Your Business Directors
    After completing your business details, you will be required to verify your company directors. Provide the following information for at least two directors:

    - Director’s First and Last Name
    - Date of Birth
    - Nationality
    - Identity Verification: Upload a valid form of identification (e.g., National ID, International Passport).
    - Director’s BVN: Input the Bank Verification Number (BVN) for each director. This will be used to authenticate their identity.

    If your business has more than two directors, click on the 'Add Director' button to input additional director details.

  5. Step 5: Submit Your Verification
    After completing the information for both directors, click on the Submit button to finalize your business’s verification process.
    Your submission will then be reviewed by the Earnipay compliance team.

  6. What Happens Next?
    Compliance Review: After submitting your verification details, Earnipay will review the information and documents you provided. This process typically takes between 24-48 hours.
    Status Update: You will receive an update on the status of your compliance and verification via email once the review is complete.
