How to Activate Halal Mode on Your Earnipay Savings


Earnipay offers a Halal-compliant feature that allows users to turn off interest accrual on all their savings plans. This option is ideal for users who prefer to save without earning interest, in line with Islamic financial principles. Follow the steps below to activate Halal mode on your savings.

  1. Step 1: Access the Savings Menu
    - Log in to your Earnipay mobile app.
    - Navigate to the ‘Savings’ menu, which is located under quick access on your homepage.
    - Once you are in the Savings menu, look for the kebab (three dots) menu at the top right corner    of the screen and tap on it.

  1. Step 2: Toggle On Halal Mode
    You will see an option to toggle on Halal mode. Slide the button to activate this feature.

  1. Step 3: Validate the Action
    To confirm and activate Halal mode, you will be required to input your unique PIN. This step ensures that only authorised users can make changes to the savings settings.

Important Notes:
  1. Interest Forfeiture: Activating Halal mode will stop all future interest accrual on your savings plans. Additionally, you will forfeit any interest that has already been accrued.

  2. Irreversibility: Please note that the forfeiture of accrued interest cannot be reversed once Halal mode is activated.
