Guide to Business Verification for Unregistered Businesses

  1. Step 1: Log In to Your Business Account
    Start by logging into your Earnipay business account using your credentials.

  2. Step 2: Fill in Basic Business Information
    Upon logging in, you will be presented with a form requesting your basic business details. Complete the following fields:

    - Business Name: Enter your official business name.
    - Business Description: Provide a brief description of what your business does.
    - Business Size: Specify the size of your business (e.g., number of employees).
    - Business Industry Type: Select the industry in which your business operates (e.g., retail,     technology, finance, etc.).
    - Business Email Address: Enter your business’s primary email address for communication and    verification.
    - Business Phone Number: Input the phone number associated with your business.
    - Website Link (Optional): If applicable, provide a link to your business’s website.
    - Social Media Links (Optional): You can add links to your business’s social media profiles (e.g.,    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).

       Once all the fields are filled, click on the Continue button to move to the next step.

  3. Step 3: Provide Verification Information
    After completing the basic business information, you will be prompted to provide additional details for verification:

    - Input your business’s registered address.
    - You will be required to provide personal details such as: First Name and Last Name
    - Upload a valid form of identification (e.g., National ID, International Passport, Driver's License).
    - Provide your date of birth as part of the identity verification process.
    - Upload proof of your personal or business address (e.g., utility bill, bank statement).
     
     After completing the verification details, click 'continue'.

  4. Step 4: Input Your BVN for Authentication
    The final step involves inputting your Bank Verification Number (BVN).
    The system will authenticate your BVN to verify your identity.

  5. Step 5: Complete the Verification Process
    Once your BVN is authenticated, your business verification will be complete.
    You can now await approval which is typically within 24 hours. In case of a rejection, it will also be communicated, accordingly.
